Each letter and number of your engine model number has a meaning.
The model number tag is located on the top outside edge of the clamp bracket; or, on top of the swivel bracket (port or starboard).
Year Built is governed by the code "INTRODUCES" representing "1234567890"
This system works for engines manufactured from 1980 thru current.  Older model engines use a different system.
Example: EN =92 (for 1992) CT=83 (for 1983)
